We have much to be thankful for this summer! God has faithfully provided for our needs and enabled us to keep on working and putting out new resources. We know that He provided through the faithful obedience of many of you, and we thank you from the bottom of our hears for your generosity. We pray God’s richest rewards for you!

Some of the Highlights

In June we were thrilled to take part in a drive-in music event in Grunthal, Manitoba. We also travelled to Alberta, where restrictions were more relaxed. In Alberta we, together with Andrew and Deanna, took part in the North Country Gospel Fest as well as two special music nights that were an outreach to the immigrant Mennonite families in the area. More recently, on July 11, we were also pleased to be a part of Thousand Oaks Drive-in music night in Winkler, Manitoba. It was obvious at all of these events that people have been missing live music events and they came and soaked it in! We were truly blessed to be a part of it, and our hope is that God was glorified. We continue to receive messages and personal testimonies of how God has used a certain song, or message or story in the devotion books to help someone come to the Lord for salvation or find comfort in a difficult time. And that is one of the things that keeps us going!

Fundraising

We are so very thankful for the many wonderful folks who have stepped up to help us raise funds during this challenging time. Just a few examples: Judy Zacharias with Avon and Purity Zacharias with Tupperware put on fundraisers where a certain percentage of product sales are going to the ministry for a limited time. Kathy Blatz is putting on a Car Wash and Detailing Fundraiser where she will be cleaning cars by appointment and encouraging the recipients to donate the money to MMF. If you would like her to clean your vehicle, contact her at (204)-325-7859 or (204)- 362-3617 to set up an appointment. We have also set up a D’Friesens Fundraising Auction Page on Facebook where we are auctioning off items that have been donated for sale. Feel free to check it out and join the bidding! And now that restrictions have eased a bit, we are planning to hold a live, actual, old-fashioned garage/bake/tupperware sale on July 22-24, to support Jason in his new full- time role with MMF. There are a few more fundraisers in the planning stages, so keep checking our social media posts for updates.
